Filling Line RFQ Checklist for Buyers

Prepare these details once and send them in one WhatsApp conversation. If a value is not known yet, write "not decided". A clear gap helps more than a guess.

Product and Container Details

The product and its container decide which filling method, closure handling and labeling stations are possible. Describe both as they will actually run on the line.

  1. 01Product

Name the product and describe how it behaves at filling temperature: runny or thick, any particles, foaming, stringing or crystallizing, and the temperature it is filled at.

  2. 02Container

Bottle or jar material and shape, height and diameter, neck finish, and the fill volume. A photo or drawing sent in WhatsApp helps.

  3. 03Closure

Cap type (screw, flip-top, pump, press-on or other), size, and whether it has a liner or an inner seal.

  4. 04Labels

Label type and how many sides need a label (front, back, wrap-around, shrink sleeve).

Output and Automation Targets

Give the output you need in units you can check, and say how much manual work you accept. "Not decided yet" is a valid answer; say so instead of guessing a number.

  1. 01Target output

Containers per hour or per shift, with the unit stated, or write "not decided".

  2. 02Automation level

Which steps may stay manual (loading containers, placing caps, packing) and which must be automatic.

Space, Utilities and Existing Equipment

A line has to fit the room and the services available in it. Rough figures are enough to start a layout conversation.

  1. 01Factory space

Available floor area or a sketch of the room, ceiling height, and where doors and walkways are.

  2. 02Utilities

Local power supply (voltage and phase) and compressed air availability.

  3. 03Existing equipment

Machines you already own that the line must work with, such as a filler, conveyor or labeler.

Destination, Standards and Delivery Scope

These details set the documentation, electrical and commercial scope of the proposal.

  1. 01Destination country

The country where the line will be installed.

  2. 02Standards and documents

Any electrical, safety or documentation requirements your country or customers impose, listed as you have them.

  3. 03Timeline

When you hope to have the line running, or "not decided".

Common Questions

01Do I need every item before I get in touch?
No. Send what you know and write "not decided" for the rest. We will tell you which gaps matter for your product and which can wait. If you are still deciding what to buy, read how to choose a filling line.
02Can I send photos, drawings or a floor plan?
Yes, in the WhatsApp chat. The line layout page lists what a layout review needs. The site itself has no upload form and stores nothing you send.
03Does this checklist give me a price?
No. A price needs a confirmed scope. The checklist prepares the information a quotation is based on. See the cost guide for what drives the price.
